Collection: Oceans

Music is a big part of me, as I paint I like listening to the special playlists or sometimes a  particular song would come to my mind spontaneously as my painting develops and comes alive. The Oceans series was inspired by the rock classic of my student years -The Oceans by Pearl Jam.

     Hold on to the thread
       The currents will shift
         Glide me towards you
           Know something's left
             And we're all allowed
                To dream of the next
                            time we touch
              You don't have to stray
           The oceans away
         Waves roll in my thoughts
        Hold tight the ring
      The sea will rise
     Please stand by the shore
   I will be there once more
